FDT1
* Honour and Fleming: Chapter 11, The 16th Century up to subtitel 'Michelangelo'. Michelangelo will be for another lesson.
* Learning to speak about images part 3, written assignment. Please print out so you can hand it in on september 20th.
* Choose a photograph of your own, to describe.
* Work through the three levels of description:
1. Describe the fysical appearance of the photograph. Think of format, gloss or mat, color or blw etc
2. Describe what is depicted in the photograph. Look at composition, organisation of the elements in the picture etc.
3. Start to interpret what you see: which story is told, in which period, with which intention was the photograph taken. Remember that you can only refer to things you have described in points 1 and 2.

* Work through the three levels of description:
1. Describe the fysical appearance of the art work. Think of format, surface, color etc
2. Describe what is depicted in the art work. Look at composition, organisation of the elements in the picture etc.
3. Start to interpret what you see: which story is told, in which period, with which intention was the art work made.

We gaan door met het bespreken van verschillende aanpakken van een thema. Breng voorbeelden mee.

Breng voorbeelden mee van 'Best Practise'. Projecten die inzicht geven in het onderzoek, de keuzes die gemaakt zijn bij de verbeelding en in de edit.

* Kies een documentair thema dat door twee verschillende makers verschillend is uitgewerkt. Breng het voorbeeld mee zodat wij erover kunnen praten.
* Lees in Rosenblum hoofdstuk 4

FDT3
Kies een voorbeeld van een goed onderzocht documentair project en probeer de werkwijze van de maker te analyseren. Breng het voorbeeld mee en ook de aantekeningen die jij voor de analyse gemaakt hebt.
